1. About these terms
These Terms govern your use of the MyDish Logistics app and website ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Riders and vendors are additionally governed by their separate Rider Agreement and Vendor Agreement.
2. The Service
MDL is a marketplace that connects customers with vendors (kitchens/businesses) and with riders who deliver orders. MDL coordinates ordering, pricing, dispatch, tracking and payment.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
- Customers sign in by phone; vendors and riders receive access after verification.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be 18 or older to use the Service.
4. Orders, pricing and payment
- Prices (including delivery fees) are shown before you confirm an order. Delivery pricing is distance-based and shown before you confirm.
- Payment is processed securely via our payment processor (Paystack). MDL does not store full card details.
- Delivery is confirmed using a delivery code shared between customer and rider.
- Cancellations, refunds and failed-delivery handling: Cancellations, refunds and failed-delivery outcomes are handled in accordance with our operational policies as applied through the app; where a refund is due, it is processed to the original payment method.
5. Vendors
Vendors are independent businesses responsible for their own food/goods, quality, and legal compliance (including food safety and licensing). Vendor settlement and commission are governed by the Vendor Agreement. Vendor settlement is generally made within 24 hours of an order being completed.
6. Riders
Riders are independent providers, not employees of MDL. Rider verification (including KYC) is required before a rider may accept deliveries. Rider earnings and any service charge are governed by the Rider Agreement.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service — no unlawful use, fraud, interference with the platform, or misuse of others' data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms or the law.
8. Liability
MDL operates as a marketplace connecting customers, vendors and riders. Vendors and riders are independent parties responsible for their own acts, and MDL's liability for the food, goods and delivery services they provide is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data under the NDPA.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or on our website. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
